ALVA’S HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE

The Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration 2025, organized
by the Kannada Vedike of Alva’s Homoeopathic
Medical College, Shobhavana Campus, Mijar,

Moodbidri, was held on 21stNovember 2025 at the
AHMC Seminar Hall with Dr. Ganesh Ameen Sankmar as
the Chief Guest.The event honoured Karnataka’s
KARNATAKA culture and language, beginning with a traditional
procession, lamp lighting, prayer, and the Nada
RAJYOTSAVA Geethe. Numerous off-stage competitions such as
crossword, quiz, translation for non-Kannadigas, tug of
war, photography, fancy dress, essay, story and poetry
writing, drawing and rangoli, along with on-stage
performances including Dollu Kunitha, Kamsale,
Yakshagana, welcome dance, class-wise dances,
thematic skit, competitions for non-Kannadigas, group
Organized singing, and a documentary on Karnataka encouraged
by the Kannada Vedike, enthusiastic student participation.The program

AHMC concluded with prize distribution and refreshments,
fostering unity, creativity, cultural harmony, and
showcasing outstanding talent. The participation of
non-Kannadiga students highlighted inclusivity and

cultural integration, making the celebration a grand
success and strengthening pride in Kannada heritage.
